Rochelle S. Collantes, MD, MPH

 

Dr. Collantes, is a Research Investigator at the Center for Liver Diseases at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Since 2002, she has been involved with monitoring, planning, coordinating, and implementing the investigator-initiated clinical and translational protocols at the Center, as well as supporting the research staff in industry-sponsored clinical trials.
Dr. Collantes completed the degree requirements for a medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, and obtained her Masters in Public Health degree from The George Washington University School of Public Health. She is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the North American Association for the Study of Obesity. She has co-authored more than 10 articles and abstracts on Chronic Hepatitis C and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Dr. Collantes is also an Affiliate Professor of the Center for the Study of Genomics in Liver Diseases at George Mason University.
