Digestive Disease Week

The 2006 Digestive Disease Week (DDW) meeting will be held in Los Angeles, CA from May 20-25, 2006. DDW is the largest international gathering of physicians, researchers and academics in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery. DDW takes place every May in cities throughout the US. Attendance averages 14,000 people, just over half of whom travel from outside the United States. Physicians from the UK, Germany, Japan and France make up nearly 40% of all international attendees. The meeting showcases approximately 5,000 abstracts and hundreds of lectures on the latest advances in GI research, medicine and technology.

The Liver Meeting

The 2006 AASLD (American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases) meeting will be held October 27, 31, 2006 in Boston, Mass. AASLD is the largest International Hepatology meeting. Research is (both basic & clinical) will be presented by the entire scientific world.
