Definition of SBIRTThis is the first step in conducting a rapid policy analysis concerning cost and impact of Screening and Brief Intervention on the Medicaid program. Before you proceed, please complete the following information to set up an access code for your data: Answer the questions on this page to define what is meant by Screening and Brief Intervention within your organization or State. The information you provide will be used to propose a code set for defining Screening and Brief Intervention within your State's Medicaid program. Obviously, you want this code set to be based on your experience. At the same time, you want the definition to be as broad as possible so that future variations of your SBIRT program can be reimbursed.
