The Mason
Enterprise Center specializes in the areas of small business services,
government contracting, international business, entrepreneurship, technology
ventures, and telework initiatives, the Center offers a unique combination
of programs, services, and resources.
International Business
Development Program
The International Business Development Program objective is to assist
United States IT and Biotech firms enter select international markets
and to assist international IT and Biotech companies enter the US marketplace.
Mentor
Protege Program
Congress established the Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) in
1991. The purpose of the MPP is it seeks to encourage major Department
of Defense (DoD) prime contractors (mentors) to develop the technical
and business capabilities of Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs) and
other eligible protégés in order to enhance their contribution
and expand their business base to the DoD market place.
Procurement Technical
Assistance Program (PTAP)
The Procurement Technical Assistance Program is a not-for-profit organization
funded by the Defense Logistics Agency and George Mason University. PTAP
exists to increase contracting activity between small businesses, prime
government contractors and the government.
