I know I have to update my control chart with new data, should I show the data from this new solution is a different color? On: 6/30/2009 2:50:22 PM5482 290Other290 Answer: Yes that would be a good idea. You can use the data till this intervention as pre-intervention period and the data after as the post intervention period and this will allow you to see if the intervention is making a difference. Of course, you can also examine if the combination of your three interventions are making a difference, in which case you do not need to change the pre- and post intervention times. 56785463 Answer: Delete This is a reasonable question. Many people cannot change elements of their environment. The first step is to recognize these elements and their influence in your habits. The second step is to try to change how these elements affect you. For example, I might work far away from my home and therefore have long commute during which I am inactive. Obviously I cannot easily change my home or my work so what can I do? I might be able to change times I commute so that I can avoid traffic and reduce my commute. I might do errands before coming home (e.g. shopping for food) which will take me out of rush hour. I might go to exercise after work, thus changing commute time. I might be able to build physical activity during commute (e.g. by biking portion of the commute, parking far away from work and walking). The point is that there is a lot I can still do even though I am stuck with where my home is and what work I do. Date of Answer: 6/13/2009 5:33:23 AM Farrokh Alemi, Ph.D. 0
